We need your support!

We call on the European Commission and EASA to change the implementing rule of regulation 965 - AEDs MUST be mandatory on all passenger airplanes in the European Union.

We need your help - support our petition, spread the word, like our Facebook page. A campaign needs supporters. If you or your organisation wants to support us, please let us know. You can write us an e-mail or contact us through our Facebook page. If you are a media representative, please contact us via email.

If you have some time to invest - we are i.e. looking for campaign representatives in every Member State of the European Union and would welcome your involvement.

In a nutshell

  • In order to survive a cardiac arrest, an AED (automated external defibrillator) needs to be applied within minutes, otherwise the person suffering the cardiac arrest is likely to die.

  • Cardiac arrests can happen to anyone – and they can occur anytime and anywhere - even in airplanes.

  • AEDs must be obligatory in all airplanes in the airspace of the European Union - today they are not.

  • Flight attendants can easily be trained in applying AEDs. On most flights medical professionals are present as passengers.

  • AEDs are relatively inexpensive costing less than 1000 € per piece.
